We have provided you with vinyl gloves which make the forming process very neat and easy.
First step - Decide what size Crabcake you need.
Need a great appetizer? Try Caddy Bites, make as many as you can, they will be the hit of the party!
NOTE* whatever size you make please try to keep your Crabcakes approximately 1 º inches thick.
Second step - Gently form your Crabcakes and place on lightly greased baking sheet.
Third step – Baking is our recommendation and is how we cook them at the store. If baking, place your Crabcakes in a well pre-heated 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, let stand for 8-10 minutes. At the store we lightly sprinkle with Paprika, but that is optional and serve with our house tomato tartar based Cadillac Crabcake Sauce. Baking is our recommendation and is how we cook them at the store.
You can also broil or sautÈ your Crabcakes. If broiling, keep your Crabcakes at least 6 inches from the broiler for 12-15 minutes and baste with butter frequently. Don't let your Crabcakes get too dark! Serve with house Tomato Tartar Sauce. If sautÈing, BE CAREFUL! Our colossal lumps and very little filler make your Crabcakes fragile and they should be minimally handled. SautÈ in butter for 6-8 minutes per side over medium heat and serve with house tomato tartar based Cadillac Crabcake Sauce.
Enjoy preparing & baking the Cadillac Crab Cake, beware, it's so good you may want to eat it alone.
