River Falls Seafood was founded by veteran Washington DC seafood buyer and merchandiser Jeff Grolig. Considered by many as the leading expert in the procurement, marketing and retailing of fresh seafood, he was labeled

The River Falls Seafood Company was established in 1999. Following a 15 year career with the largest gourmet food chain in Washington, Jeff Grolig decided to open River Falls Seafood Company. Together with Executive Chef Ian Rickerby and seafood specialist Michael Turgott the River Falls Seafood Company has grown to become the recognized leader in fresh seafood and prepared entrČe's, appetizers, soups, side dishes and desserts.
Immediately Jeff Grolig, a native Marylander, set out to create the ultimate "take home" Crabcake. Studying many recipes and locating the perfect crabmeat, he settled on the now famous "Cadillac Crab Cake" recipe. The classic Chesapeake Bay recipe, COLOSSAL lumps of succulent crabmeat and a unique method of preparation, the "Cadillac Crab Cake" quickly became the #1 seller at River Falls Seafood.
